1st attempt at home made crisps in the air fryer! Had some sliced potatoes left over from making a potato bake for tea and decided to try making some crisps, they’re ready salted and very nice indeed. Just peeled, thinly sliced spuds ( I did mine in the food processor with the slicer blade attached) then mixed with one teaspoon of oil, in the air fryer for about 20 minutes. I had to keep checking on them and taking out the small ones as they went crispy but all in all pretty easy. Finally season with your flavour of choice, I went for plain salt. Yummy!

The sun is shining and the sky is blue, but I’m wearing my winter coat and am beginning to wish I’d brought my hat and gloves too. What is going on May?

The perfect lane and hedgerow, it’s definitely the cow parsley that makes it!

I was at a charity film night last night, couldn’t resist snapping a picture of the cinema, I wish all cinemas had signs like this!

Been away from the blog for a bit, but back at it now! Wasn’t completely doing nothing while the blog’s been quiet - the other Sunday my mum kindly taught me how to crochet, so I’ve crocheting away like mad trying to make my first blanket! I’ve done four squares so far but I reckon I’m going to need about another 20 more to make a decent sized blanket, but since I’ve been crocheting away in front of the tv these past few nights it’s really not much of a chore, plus I’ve got this pretty snazzy purple crochet needle my mum leant me! Roll on Blanket weather!

Another summery bunch. I have loads of vases but can’t resist using the golden syrup tin instead! A few more hedgerow roses in this one but I am rationing them as they look too nice in the hedge so only cutting a few at a time!

Most amazing view through my blind this morning! I thought the silhouetted birds looked like some sort of print. Isn’t nature great! (although I did have to wipe a lot of bird poo off the bench which is outside the window!)

Our stall at the black Market. Still half an hour left to head down and take a look around, definitely worth it, loads to see and beer and cake aplenty!

Really great busy day at the black Market! Lovely to see everybody out even though the weather leaves a lot to be desired!

Just finished reading this. I have to admit that I bought it solely because of its cover but it has to be one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.
